Tailgator is a hand-laid-up fiberglass body for maximum strength-to-weight ratio. The body is mounted on a steel tube frame with a torsion axle. This Tailgator was styled to complement the tow vehicle. A suspension lift of 5 inches (no cost option), aftermarket bumper, fender flares, wheels and tires have been installed to match the custom '89 Wrangler tow vehicle. |

The Fiberglass lid (shown here open) is supported by air springs. The top must be raised before opening the tailgate for loading. The top is lockable, securing your cargo, and when locked the tailgate access is also secured. This particular Tailgator has Jeep wheels, fender flares, and taillight guards to match the tow vehicle. |

Interior space available reaches well below the tailgate which opens to allow easy loading. The interior has a flat floor and is covered with gray urethane for easy cleaning and cargo protection. Interior lights improve nighttime visibility. |

The Tailgator, shown here, has a polished aluminum diamond plate front frame cover. The body interior extends nearly to the bottom of this plate allowing more interior space than is initially apparent from the outside. This low floor lowers the center of gravity and increases the interior space. |
